1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Stratford - £96-£115 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stratford. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a child with additional needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning and thrive within the classroom environment.
The Role:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a pupil who requires additional support, both academically and emotionally. You will play a key role in implementing tailored strategies, supporting engagement, and promoting independence throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans
Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Monitor and track progress, providing feedback where requiredThe Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)The School Offers:
