permanent 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant . This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours, looking for a long-term, secure position within a nurturing setting. The successful candidate will be

employed directly by the school

from the start.

The Role

You will work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who requires consistent, personalised support due to a range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs. The school are looking for someone patient, resilient and confident in using trauma-informed strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering tailored support under the guidance of the class teacher Adapting learning activities to individual needs Encouraging independence, engagement, and emotional regulation Supporting behaviour in line with school expectations and safeguarding practice Contributing to a safe, calm and supportive classroom environment

Requirements

Experience supporting children or young people in education, SEND or care Experience with challenging behaviours and complex needs Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management A calm, positive and adaptable approach Level 3 TA qualification is advantageous but not essential
