1:1 Teaching Assistant in KS1 Chorley | Full Time | Immediate Start
A lovely, welcoming primary school in Chorley is looking for a dedicated and energetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil full time.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school with a friendly staff team and nurturing ethos, where every child is encouraged to thrive.
The role will involve supporting a bright and energetic little boy in Key Stage 1 who enjoys being active and engaged throughout the day. The school is looking for someone with patience, positivity and a bit of personality someone who can build a strong relationship, keep him motivated and help him channel his energy in a positive way.
The Role
Providing 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil
Encouraging engagement with learning through movement, structure and positive reinforcement
Supporting with behaviour regulation and focus in the classroom
Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team
Helping the pupil access learning both in class and through practical activities
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in KS1
Is energetic, patient and positive
Enjoys working with children who like to stay active and engaged
Can build strong relationships and provide consistent support
Has a proactive, calm and encouraging approach
