The Company: The company is an IT Services and Consultancy organisation with a strong presence across the UK.

The Role: This role handles advanced cases requiring technical support, alongside escalations or overflow from the 1st Line Support Team. Alongside their advanced technical capability, the 2nd Line Support Engineer must deliver excellent customer service focused on quality ITSM system input, first-touch resolution, and meeting any SLA obligations. While providing technical support and excellent customer service to clients, the 2nd Line Support Engineer is key to delivering high-quality services and excellent levels of client satisfaction. The role holder will be required to achieve and maintain necessary vetting (e.g., Disclosure Scotland, BPSS, SC). The successful candidate should have: Previous experience in a similar role Ideally have some system administration experience. Strong communication and problem solving skills Technical skills: Microsoft collaboration tool configuration and management, including O365, SharePoint and Teams. Virtual desktop technologies, Hyper-V, Azure VM Remote monitoring tools, including N-Able N-Central. Familiarity with networking and firewall key principles. Replication and backup solutions, including Zerto and Veeam. VMWare vSphere Storage This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a clear growth/career path.
