7.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Driver Birstall (Temp to Perm)

Pay: £14.50 per hour
Location: Birstall
Shifts: 4 on 4 off rotating rota
Start Time: Between 05:00 07:00 (depending on route)
Job Type: Temp to Perm / Ongoing Placement

Recruit A Driver are looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Driver to join a trusted client on an ongoing placement.

The Role

  • Drive refrigerated vehicles, completing up to 18 drops per shift
  • Use a tail lift to offload palletised goods (some handball with a trolley may be required)
  • Deliver to food-related customer sites nationwide
  • Carry out safe loading and unloading at delivery points
  • Use handheld terminals for delivery confirmations
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Category C1 licence (held at least 2 years)
  • Recent commercial driving experience (within the last 612 months)
  • Maximum 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
