My client based in Watford are looking for a driver to join their team. This role is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Watford Salary: £17.00 per hour plus overtime Job Type: Full-time. Temp to perm
Job Description: I am currently working on behalf of my client looking for a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers, ensuring excellent service and maintaining high standards of professionalism. The area that is covered could be anywhere in the UK but you will mainly be driving around London and the South East.
The main hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. You will usually be required to leave work earlier in the day therefore will finish earlier or overtime can be offered.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
Load and unload goods checking delivery notes
Plan delivery routes efficiently and meet scheduled delivery times
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Provide friendly and professional customer service
Requirements:
Valid Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Digital tachograph card
Backgound in driving and delivery
Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
