7.5T Delivery Driver

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonneDelivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury.
You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.
The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:
Driving a 7.5 ton vehicle on a daily basis
Working with a drivers mate
Delivering customers orders to their homes and offices
Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
Following a delivery route, which is pre planned for you
Pre calling customers before arrival
Filling in paperwork as and when required
Removing all packaging from each delivery
The ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:
Experience within a similar role
7.5 ton licence or above
CPC and Taco
The ability to handle heavy goods
A clean DBS
The hours of work for the 7.7 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 7.00am 6.15pm.
The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driverwill be £13.60 per hour, on a 12-week temp to perm basis. Any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half.
