7.5T Drivers Required - Ongoing Work - Preston

We are currently seeking experienced 7.5T (C1) Drivers for long-term, ongoing work with our established client based in Preston.

Shift Details

Monday to Friday 09:00 starts Ongoing weekly work

Pay Rate

£15.07 per hour - flat rate for the first 12 weeksAfter 12 weeks (AWR rates apply):

£16.36 per hour for the first 8 hours £24.54 per hour for overtime

Role Overview

You will be responsible for business-to-business (B2B) collections and deliveries, ensuring professional, safe, and timely service to all customers.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation & Safety

Conduct daily walk‑around inspections (pre‑use checks) Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before leaving site Report any vehicle defects promptly Adhere to road traffic laws, company policies, and driving regulations

Logistics & Delivery

Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity Carry out loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safe handling Use tail-lifts or manual handling as required Guarantee accurate, timely, and safe delivery to customers Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records
