The Role

This is a senior client services role focused on leading complex experiential programmes across retail, flagship environments and multi-location rollouts.

As Account Director, you’ll act as the senior day-to-day partner to key clients, overseeing the strategic, creative and commercial delivery of projects while ensuring the work remains culturally relevant, operationally sound and financially successful.

You’ll sit at the centre of multidisciplinary teams, balancing client ambition with delivery realities and driving both account growth and experience quality.


What You’ll Be Doing

Client Leadership

  • Acting as senior point of contact for key experiential and retail clients
  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Advising clients on the role of experiential within the wider marketing mix
  • Leading programmes spanning flagship stores, retail activations and ongoing experience platforms
  • Owning and approving key documentation including briefs, budgets, timings and reporting

Project & Programme Delivery

  • Overseeing complex multi-project delivery across physical and live environments
  • Ensuring clarity of scope, milestones, responsibilities and communication across teams
  • Balancing creative ambition with operational feasibility, timelines and cost control
  • Evaluating experience performance and feeding insights into future planning

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Owning account financial performance and approving project budgets
  • Managing profitability while maintaining high production and creative standards
  • Identifying opportunities for organic account growth and additional revenue
  • Applying strong commercial judgement to resource and delivery decisions

Team Leadership

  • Providing direction, feedback and mentorship to account and project teams
  • Supporting resource planning and workload management across departments
  • Leading by example to maintain energy, accountability and collaboration
  • Sharing knowledge and best practice to strengthen team capability


What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience in an experiential, retail or integrated agency environment
  • Proven track record managing large-scale brand experience or retail programmes
  • Experience working with senior client stakeholders and managing complex approvals
  • Strong understanding of physical environments, live activations and rollout logistics
  • Demonstrable commercial ownership of accounts, including budgeting and forecasting

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working on multi-market or international rollouts
  • Background in premium or consumer-facing retail environments
  • Exposure to measurement frameworks and ROI evaluation in experiential


Key Skills

Essential

  • Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder handling
  • Strong organisational and programme management skills
  • Commercially astute with a clear understanding of agency margins and delivery costs
  • Confident presenter and facilitator in senior client meetings
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in fast-paced environments

Desirable

  • Experience leading workshops, strategy sessions or co-creation processes
  • New business or pitch experience


Working Environment

  • Hybrid working model with a mix of office, remote and on-site delivery
  • Regular travel to retail locations, live events and client offices
  • Fast-paced, collaborative agency culture with cross-functional project teams
