We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Account Manager to lead the hospitality and retail operations for a high-profile London client. This is a senior operational leadership role with full accountability for client satisfaction, financial performance, team leadership, innovation, and compliance across a complex, multi-outlet estate. This role will suit a confident hospitality leader from a premium contract catering environment who combines strong client stewardship with disciplined commercial management and a passion for food, service and people development. The Role Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager / Divisional Director, you will take end-to-end responsibility for directing and coordinating the site to achieve both client and company objectives. You will ensure consistently exceptional food and service standards, while driving efficiency, profitability and long-term account retention. You will work closely with clients, senior stakeholders and internal support teams to shape operational strategy, deliver innovation and continuously enhance the guest experience across this circa £6m annual business combining retail, hospitality and large-scale events. Key Responsibilities Lead the operational, commercial and cultural performance of a large, high-turnover B&I account Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients at all levels, acting as a strategic partner Produce and manage annual budgets, forecasts, growth strategies and capital investment plans Drive profitability through effective cost control, forecasting and commercial decision-making Deliver creative, innovative food and beverage offers across retail, hospitality and events Lead, develop and performance-manage Heads of Department, building strong succession plans Champion health & safety, food hygiene, HR compliance, CSR and sustainability initiatives Oversee financial reporting, invoicing and client reporting with accurate supporting data Support retention strategies and contribute to wider business and divisional objectives About You Proven experience leading a large, complex B&I or events-led operation (in excess of £4m+ turnover) Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience of budgets, forecasts and P&L ownership Background in premium hospitality, events, fine dining or multi-retail environments Confident, credible client-facing leader with strong influencing and communication skills Experienced people manager with a track record in developing senior operational teams Highly organised, resilient and solutions-focused, able to manage multiple priorities Why This Role?
