Have proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager within the travel industry, thrive in a relationship-led, field-based sales role, and enjoy growing existing accounts while identifying new commercial opportunities? Job Description:
The Account Manager role works within a fantastic regionally based sales team. The role’s key function is to maximise trading opportunities with existing and new business partners growing their market share.
- You will communicate all sales updates, promotions, and initiatives to national, regional, and individual agents, as well as travel business owners in your areas
- Your role will involve enhancing commission opportunities, aiming for high-margin results, and addressing ongoing sales enquiries
- Weekly reporting
- Prepare and host company events
- Constantly drive sales
- Collaborate closely with other teams within the company
- Primary contact for the company with company partners
- Build and grow relationships
- Design effective campaigns
Experience required:
- MUST have experience working in a KAM/AM/BDM role within the travel industry
- Proven track record of success
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Effective strategic decision-making
- Fantastic presentation skills
- Confident
- Resilient and Tenacious
