eCatering, part of the RGD Group, is one of the UKs fastest-growing online suppliers of commercial catering equipment, serving hospitality, education, leisure, healthcare and public sector clients nationwide.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be an ambitious, commercially focused Account Manager who will drive growth across London and selected national Key Accounts. This is a high-impact role focused on winning larger projects, increasing share of business within our existing customers, and developing new business across the capital.
The successful candidate will be based in or near London and comfortable managing a dynamic, field-based territory. Previous experience within the commercial catering equipment sector is highly desirable.
This is a remote, field-based position. Monthly travel to our North East head office and supplier visits will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver agreed revenue and gross margin targets across London, the South East and allocated Key Accounts
Identify, develop and convert larger project opportunities within the territory
Conduct regular face-to-face customer meetings to increase account penetration and long-term value
Manage and grow an established portfolio of Key Account customers
Lead project orders, new site openings, refurbishments and multi-site rollouts in the franchise sector
Build strong relationships with operators, franchisors, chefs, procurement teams and group decision makers
Plan strategically for each customer interaction with clear commercial objectives
Maintain accurate weekly and monthly pipeline and activity reporting
Work collaboratively with the internal sales, trading and customer service teams
Skills & Experience Required
Proven field sales experience, ideally within commercial catering equipment or foodservice supply
Strong track record of winning new business and securing larger-value orders
Experience managing multi-site or group hospitality accounts preferred
Excellent negotiation, closing and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial awareness and margin focus
Ability to manage pipeline, forecast accurately and work independently
High level of organisation and attention to detail
Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence required
