Accounting Manager

This position is ideal for a practice-trained accountant who enjoys client interaction, autonomy, and variety, and is looking to develop as a well-rounded general practitioner.
The Role
As an Accounts Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of limited company clients
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
Supporting and managing junior staff members
Providing day-to-day business advice to clients
Ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
About You
ACA / ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
Background in practice with accounts preparation experience
Comfortable managing client relationships directly
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
Keen to develop as a general practitioner across a varied client base
Proactive, organised, and client-focused
