A highly reputable Norfolk based firm of Chartered Accountants are growing and looking for an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior or Senior to join their team. Established over 50 years ago, this is a firm that have maintained their excellent local reputation while building their service offering and capability over time across a broad range of clients, serving both SME's and larger corporate organisations. Covering a wide range of industries including agriculture, property, manufacturing, healthcare and charities this role would suit someone who is keen to have a real impact on the local business market.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare audit and accounts files for senior review across multiple industry sectors within a portfolio
Preparing statutory accounts (UK GAAP / FRS 102-1A)
Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion
Involvement with clients in an advisory capacity while helping maintain high professional standards within the firm
Liaise with clients daily building long term relationships, identifying areas to add value
Develop audit plans and relevant testing strategies
Carry out audit fieldwork efficiently and accurately
Draft corporation tax computations
What We're Looking For
ACA / ACCA qualified or currently studying
Recent experience in a UK accountancy practice; minimum 3 years
Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Comfortable supporting or supervising junior staff
