We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, Values led and practical person to join the team at Space, a multi sensory centre, working to enable carers to use the sensory facilities to gain the maximum benefit for children and adults with additional needs.

Please note that this role is a temporary fixed term contract for 9 months and there would be further job opportunities after this point.

The national recognised Space centre is proud to offer services 7 days a week. You must be committed, positive and person centred in your approach and have the ability to guide and nurture groups. Each day is different at The Space Centre and so the role requires an adaptable approach and a willingness to multitask. A large part of the role is training colleagues and offering supervision so good communication skills are a necessity along with administrative/IT skills. The role of Centre Coordinator requires an understanding of the impact of a sensory environment and experience working with technology and the ability to trouble shoot.
