The ground-breaking PharosAI initiative is a £43.6M national programme co-led by Queen Mary University of London. This is a unique opportunity to help build a first-of-its-kind cancer AI development ecosystem, democratising access to data, technologies, and AI expertise, while directly contributing to patient care and innovation.

This role is part of multiple exciting roles that we are recruiting into across a variety of disciplines for this project including scientists, bioinformaticians and support colleagues in research and administration.

About the role
This Administration post will be integral to our success. Responsible for coordinating all PharosAI day to day activities, including, but not limited to, operations administration, servicing committee meetings and supporting our financial and HR processes. This varied, fast-paced role is perfect for a proactive multitasker ready to be part of something collaborative and innovative.

About you
Alongside demonstrable experience of providing administrative support in a similar level role, you will be used to dealing with both finance and HR systems and supporting the processes that goes with these. With a track record of managing multi stakeholder diaries, you will use your existing organisation skills to ensure planning and progression of work activities.

The project will be based at the Barts Cancer Institute, part of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

About the Institute
The Barts Cancer Institute (BCI) is a Cancer Research UK Centre of Excellence whose work aims to transform the lives of those with and at risk of cancer through innovative research in the laboratory, in patients and in populations. BCI is internationally renowned in many areas of cancer research, and it combines ground-breaking basic research with the expertise of clinicians and clinician scientists.
