Frontier Resourcing are looking for a senior level AI Technical Architect to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native and AI-enabled systems across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments. You'll turn complex client needs into production-ready solutions — and take ownership from architecture through deployment and operations.

Due to the nature of clients you'll be working with candidates will need to hold an active

UK Security Clearance to SC , or preferably DV level. The role will be Hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the office or client site, Bristol or London. The Role: You will design and deliver secure, scalable AI-enabled and cloud-native systems within complex and highly regulated environments. This includes translating business and operational requirements into assured technical architectures aligned with security, compliance, and resilience standards. Design secure, scalable AI and cloud architectures and take them all the way into production. Working hands-on, you'll build, deploy, and operate containerised services using Python, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. You'll embed security from the start — implementing strong identity controls, hardened configurations, and robust monitoring to ensure systems are resilient and supportable. Lead technical delivery across the full lifecycle, shaping architecture, guiding engineers, and ensuring quality in implementation. Working directly with clients, you'll help define requirements, run technical workshops, and deliver solutions that create real operational value. You'll also contribute to technical direction by developing proofs-of-concept, refining delivery patterns, and advancing AI and cloud capabilities. Skills/Experience: Essential Proven cloud architecture and hands-on delivery experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Strong Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions or GitLab), Docker, and Kubernetes skills Experience shipping and operating production systems (“you build it, you run it”) Solid cloud security knowledge: identity, access control, logging, and data protection Strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills Passion for learning and applying emerging technologies Desirable Python engineering experience and API development Experience with data pipelines and vector databases Knowledge of SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering practices Exposure to AI systems, LLMs, RAG, or agent architectures Experience working with UK government or secure environments You'll work alongside expert architects and engineers to deliver complex, high-impact solutions in secure and challenging environments.
