Van/uniform/phone/tablet supplied The position requires a Senior Air Conditioning engineer that can complete maintenance, diagnostic and remedial operations to a high standard with a good advanced knowledge of AC equipment, DX and chilled water, AHUs and chillers. Duties The Senior AC Engineer will be required to perform the following:-
Provide technical support to the field engineers Provide support with regards to surveys and running small projects (subcontractors) Provide maintenance, inspection and repair services to air conditioning / ventilation / refrigeration / cooling systems Complete PPM, AHU, VRVs, split systems plus fan coil units Maintain and manage the records for all HVAC kit on site and provide a monitoring service for the critical maintenance schedules including F-Gas records Diagnose faults and use diagnostics tools to ascertain correct solutions Liaise with electrical, building services and BMS teams, providing overlap where required Assist with general ad-hoc maintenance tasks if and when required Requirements:
Experience of carrying out site surveys/validations Experience managing a small team At least 10 years experience of PPMs and reactive works with requisite qualifications including NVQ & F-gas Experience of dealing with all AC systems from split type units to VRV (Daikin & Mitsubishi) Experience working with AHUs Experience working with Heat recovery units Experience working with 4 pipe fan coil units Electrical knowledge Plumbing knowledge IT literate and good record/data keeping skills Pro active attitude Highly articulate and presentable with good customer facing skills Full clean driving licence HVAC / AC / Air Conditioning TPBN1_UKTJ
