And now, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. About the Role As one of our Engineers, you’ll travel across Suffolk and Norfolk (and occasionally further afield), installing, servicing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems for a wide range of clients — from local independents to national names. No two days are the same. One day you might be diagnosing a fault with office AC, the next, you’re maintaining a high-tech refrigeration system for a big-name retailer. What You’ll Be Doing * Installing, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of AC and refrigeration systems * Being part of our on-call rota to provide 24/7 breakdown cover * Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and trainees * Using Joblogic to complete service reports and paperwork * Providing top-tier service that reflects our commitment to quality * Feeding back to management to help us keep improving What We’re Looking For * Minimum 2 years’ experience in the AC & refrigeration industry * City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning * City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling Certificate * Solid Health & Safety knowledge * A full, clean UK driving licence * A flexible attitude and great communication skills * A ‘can-do’ mindset and a passion for doing the job right What You’ll Get in Return At Pitkin & Ruddock, we believe in taking care of our people — because when you thrive, so do we. * Competitive basic pay + generous overtime rates * Company van, uniform, PPE and all specialist tools provided * Continuous training & development * Purchase of leave scheme * Extra annual leave for length of service * Annual Occupational Health checks and optional winter flu vaccinations * Be part of a company where your work is seen, appreciated and rewarded Why Join Pitkin & Ruddock?
