Our client, a key organisation in the defence sector, is seeking an experienced Alarms System Implementation Specialist to lead the development and execution of a critical alarms management strategy.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the organisation meets its safety, legal, and compliance obligations, particularly concerning Major Accident Hazard (MAH) risk mitigation.
You will collaborate with operational subject matter experts and senior management to implement a robust alarms policy, improve system performance, and provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with subject matter experts to understand and enhance the organisation’s alarm systems in line with Relevant Good Practice (RGP).
* Lead the design and implementation of alarm system strategies that enable early fault detection and responsive action across the site.
* Guide the development of new alarm policies, procedures, and technical standards that support the management of MAH risks.
* Assess and support the ongoing technical design, monitoring, and performance evaluation of alarm systems.
* Design and deliver training programmes and awareness campaigns on alarm system usage and compliance.
