OPPORTUNITY: INVESTIGATIONS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST


Description of Role

We are hiring an ambitious and capable analyst to drive forward an exciting array of investigations & consultancy work, and to assist in the development of new business. The analyst will:


  • Carry out complex investigations and research tasks using open sources, specialist databases and subscriptions, AI tools, proprietary records, document archives, and other resources.
  • Write high quality client memos, letters, and reports. 
  • Assist the case managers to coordinate the delivery of work from other team members, consultants, and professionals. 
  • Assist the directors in case administration, including tracking ongoing opportunities and case flow.
  • Assist the directors in business development endeavours & support client engagement.
  • Other important consultancy, administrative and research tasks. 


Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will:


  • Display high levels of intelligence, resourcefulness, and commercial understanding.
  • Be driven, self-starting, entrepreneurial, ambitious, and willing to learn.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in intelligence, investigations, disputes, consultancy, law, finance, frontline business, or other relevant discipline.
  • Be able to produce high quality, accurate written reports.
  • Demonstrate skills and capabilities in conducting complex, multi-phase and multi-source research and investigations, typically built on a natural curiosity and ability to follow leads.
  • Proficiency in AI tools is welcomed.
  • Foreign languages are beneficial, although not a pre-requisite.
  • Work from our offices in Central London, with some flexible arrangements.
