Role: Application Analyst

Location: Birmingham

Salary: up to £50,000

We are supporting a scaling professional services organisation to support the hire of an Applications Analyst. This role plays a central part in maintaining, enhancing, and evolving business-critical applications. You’ll serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering solutions that improve efficiency and foster innovation across the organisation.

The Role:

• Manage the daily running of applications, making sure they are reliable and perform well.
• Support and lead application-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and successfully.
• Deliver user training and maintain clear, up-to-date process documentation.
• Spot opportunities to improve systems and lead upgrades or integrations.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems quickly.

The Candidate:

• Proven experience working with industry bespoke systems, including configuration, reporting, and workflow management. Able to gather and analyse business requirements, and deliver solutions that improve operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex processes and identify practical improvements.
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and build strong relationships with customers, business teams, and IT colleagues.
