Area Sales Manager – East Midlands, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire

This is a field-based role covering Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. While there will be an element of new business development, the core focus of the role is building strong, long-term relationships with existing trade customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and introduce an expanding portfolio of high-quality products.



Responsibilities


  • Manage an existing account base of trade customers across the territory, building long-term partnerships & driving sales
  • Prospect new business accounts where necessary, creating a longer-term sales pipeline
  • Engage with customers through face-to-face meetings, actively promoting new products & explaining pricing; cater all meetings to customer specific needs
  • Provide technical support & product to training customers, promoting continued customer loyalty
  • Introduce new product lines to customers


The Successful Candidate


  • 2+ years B2B field sales experience
  • Experience of managing a high volume of existing accounts
  • Experience selling a product into retailers or trade customers is ideal
  • Experience selling blinds, shutters, home furnishings, textile products would be a plus
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ideally based on the M1 corridor, but candidates across wider Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands will also be considered


Area Sales Manager Package


  • Basic salary: up to £52,000
  • OTE: £70,000-75,000 (uncapped)
