Area Sales Manager – Pumps & Water Treatment Equipment North (Birmingham to Scotland) | Field-Based

A well-established UK engineering business with over 40 years’ experience is looking to strengthen its sales team with the addition of an Area Sales Manager.

The company specialises in pumps and chemical dosing equipment, supplying into industries including water treatment, effluent, food & beverage, and wider process environments.

Their core offering is built around metering and dosing pumps, supported by a broader range of water treatment systems and equipment, allowing them to provide solutions ranging from individual pump supply through to complete dosing packages and skid systems.

The Role

Covering the North of the UK (Birmingham up to Scotland), this is a field-based sales position focused on:

* Developing new business (approx. 70%)

* Managing and growing existing and dormant accounts (30%)

You’ll be responsible for selling a range of:

* Pumps

* Dosing systems and skid-mounted packages

* Water treatment equipment

Most opportunities will be pump-led, with scope to develop into larger system-based solutions.

What They’re Looking For

* Experience in pumps, chemical dosing, or water treatment equipment

* Background in technical / field-based sales

* Comfortable managing a territory and developing new business

* Able to engage with both engineers and commercial stakeholders

Candidates from both manufacturer and distributor backgrounds will be considered.

Package

* Circa £40,000 – £45,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

* Uncapped bonus – 15% above target (strong earning potential)

* Company car
