Art Teacher Full-time, long-term cover from Easter 2026 to July 2026

Duties as Art Teacher

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging Art lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
• Prepare, assess, and mark work for GCSE-level classes.
• Maintain a purposeful studio environment that encourages exploration and artistic growth.
• Uphold strong behaviour routines and contribute to a positive classroom culture.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners across a range of abilities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and well‑being.

Ideal Art Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status with experience teaching Art.
• Confident in delivering Art up to GCSE standard.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish clear routines.
• Effective planning, marking, and assessment skills for a long-term role.
• A passion for creativity and supporting pupils personal development.
