Job Description

Southern Asbestos Services Ltd is a well-established asbestos company with over 40 years experience in the industry. Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, were now looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our friendly and professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys in accordance with current legislation and guidance, including:

This is a varied and hands-on role where youll be trusted to manage your own workload and carry out surveys to a high standard, including:

• Management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys
• Producing clear, accurate, and well-presented survey reports
• Working closely with clients, site managers, and colleagues
• Carrying out work safely and in line with HSG264 and current legislation

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years experience as an asbestos surveyor
• BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
• Good knowledge of asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
• A reliable, organised approach with good attention to detail
• Confidence working independently while being part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
