Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a specialist further education college in Wimborne, and are currently seeking full time Teaching Assistants.

The college provide day and residential support for young people with Autism and SEMH (Social, emotional mental health needs).

Job role:

Support and facilitate the learning and independence of our students. Contribute to planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of education programmes, plans and reports as required. Contribute to assessing, recording, and reporting on young peoples’ progress

Promote and encourage independence at all times. Keep records accurately and up-to-date Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times Promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills

Location: Cranborne, Dorset

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term time only (8am - 4.30pm Monday- Friday)

Salary: £22,996 to £25,068 (Actual annual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications) Hourly Rate: £12.87 to £14.03 p/hr  Plus £1000 Welcome bonus*
