SEN Teaching Assistant with an ASD specialism

Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with ASD Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation Implement strategies in line with EHCP targets Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment Essential Requirements: Experience supporting children with ASD (school-based preferred) Understanding of KS1 curriculum and SEN strategies Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach Must have own transport due to the school's location and limited public transport access Desirable: SEN or TA qualification Experience with visual supports, routines, or behaviour strategies This role would suit someone committed to making a real difference in a child's early education.
