About Our Client: They specialise in the design and manufacture of high-reliability interconnect solutions for harsh environments, particularly in the aerospace and military sectors. They are a supplier of commercial circular and rectangular connectors, backshells, conduit, braiding, heat shrink boots, and tooling.
Working Hours: 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday Our client is flexible, and if you would prefer to work longer hours Monday to Thursday, you can finish earlier on a Friday.
Pay Rate: £12.78 per hour Overtime will be paid at 1.5 (after 40 hours basic)
What your responsibilities will be: Generally involve preparing the cable, terminating wires, assembling the backshell, and securing the components. Procedures include stripping the cable jacket, preparing the shielding, crimping or soldering contacts, and properly attaching the backshell and strain relief.
