Assistant Accountant Location: Liverpool Salary: £30.1K Full-Time, Permanent. Office-based with 1 day remote.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a growing business in Liverpool! The ideal candidate will be either qualified by experience or working towards a qualification in ACCA, CIMA, or AAT. This person should also have audit experience and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting preparation of weekly management accounts with KPIs and supporting information Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts Completing variance analysis of weekly accounts vs monthly accounts vs budgets Completing bank reconciliations and cash at hand reconciliations Preparing weekly/monthly payroll analysis and journals Calculating and scheduling accruals & prepayments Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances as required Supporting the finance team in preparation of annual budgets & forecasts Internal audits to sites to maintain/strengthen controls Assisting with year-end audits & auditors Producing supporting information for taxation computation on a monthly basisExperience & Skills
