Colleague social events including an annual staff party Free on-site parking Responsibilities: Lead the bar operations during service, maintain a visible floor presence and ensure service standards are met consistently across all shifts. Ensure cocktails and beverages are delivered accurately, consistently, and to specification. Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, escalating where required. Assist with the training and coaching to ensure team members understand the bar operations, what it offers and how to deliver it with confidence. Demonstrate and maintain strong cocktail and wine knowledge, including classics, signatures, techniques, and presentation, and confidently advise guests on selections and pairings. Support menu development, seasonal features, and premium upselling where appropriate. Support with effective stock control procedures Drive revenue through confident upselling, premium serves, and product knowledge, whilst maintaining service standards. Ensure all health, safety, licensing, and food hygiene standards are always followed. Maintain clean, safe, and organised bar and cellar areas. Requirements: Proven experience in a quality bar environment Strong cocktail knowledge and genuine passion for mixology Good working knowledge of wine, spirits, and premium beverages Able to work quickly and calmly under pressure Commercially aware with a guest-first mindset Strong attention to detail Flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends Desirable: Experience within a hotel, members club, or premium hospitality environment Cocktail or wine qualifications (WSET or equivalent)
