The Cocktail Bar
The Cocktail Bar is The Marylebone's newest hideaway, a haven of warmth, elegance and allure. Accessed via The Marylebone's main entrance and nestled away on the corner of Welbeck and Bulstrode Street, this luxurious London cocktail bar launched in December 2017.
The bar's design is inspired by the four seasons of the year, with each room responding to the natural light in each space. From the fresh summer terrace, allowing that indoor and outdoor feel all year round, to our winter lounge, the cosiest of the spaces enhanced by rich mohair and centred around the beautiful fireplace. The Cocktail Bar offers a unique experience for every season.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Cocktail Bar Manager to support the day-to-day operations in The Cocktail Bar in The Marylebone hotel. In this role you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Cocktail Bar Lounge and effectively manage the Cocktail Bar Lounge team to ensure a standard of service that meets and exceeds guest's expectations while achieving the revenue goals for the bar.
Key Responsibilities Include:
To be aware and analyse all forth coming business on a regular basis and be aware of all daily and future business requirements.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasting for the restaurant.
Using available management information to inform proactive continuous business improvement activity (i.e. feedback from guests, LQA, Forbes), responding proactively to address and correct any areas of underperformance.
To maintain a constant focus on quality - both in terms of the product and service offered.
Being fully aware of the day's business, arrivals, departures, conferences and VIPs to ensure proactive planning takes place to meet and exceed the guest's expectations.
To deal with all guest requests in a timely and professional manner, finding lasting operational solutions to all guest challenges.
To support in the management and training of The Cocktail Bar team, ensuring continual feedback, progression and development.
