Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting for an ambitious Assistant Finance Manager to join the high-calibre team of a rapidly-growing and award-winning organisation in Chorley.

This role will oversee the Group finance function and is pivotal to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will also play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations, providing management with key insights and supporting business decisions. As such, this opportunity is best suited to a CIMA/ACCA finalist who's keen to progress and grow alongside a business.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis with accompanying commentary Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances Prepare monthly finance and board packs to support business planning and review Cashflow management Ensure that payroll is promptly prepared, approved and processed Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring accurate reconciliations and audit requirements are met Continuous documenting and streamlining of finance processes, improving reporting efficiency and supporting the development of finance systems and performance Act as a key point of contact for Directors, Managers and external stakeholders, prov...
