The Kingsley has been awarded 4-star status and has 129 bedrooms and seven meeting rooms. The team is relatively small and close-knit in keeping with the property's combination of modern comforts and historic charm. What you'll be doing As Assistant Front Office Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Reception, Guest Relations, and the Nights team. Supporting the Front Office Manager, you'll lead by example to deliver seamless guest experiences, handling daily challenges with confidence and care. Your role will involve collaborating with other departments to maintain exceptional standards of hospitality while mentoring and supporting your team to reach their full potential. Whether managing guest inquiries, resolving issues, or finding creative ways to exceed expectations, your dedication will leave a lasting positive impression. Assisting the Front Office Manager in leading the team to deliver extraordinary guest service. Supporting team development through training, coaching, and hands-on guidance. Taking ownership of day-to-day operations and stepping up in the Manager's absence. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey from check-in to check-out. Proactively addressing guest feedback and resolving concerns with calm professionalism. Contributing to sales initiatives, cost control, and the achievement of performance goals. What you'll bring A proven ability to inspire and support teams through hands-on, authentic leadership. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every guest interaction reflects world-class standards. A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. A passion for coaching and developing individuals within a supportive and inclusive environment. Knowledge of Opera is a bonus but not essential.
