Not a chain, but a family of restaurants, founded in Copenhagen over 30 years ago, by two Japanese-Danish brothers and their brother-in-law. With a unique blend of cultures and culinary traditions, they created something entirely new - and entirely unforgettable. We serve a unique combination of classic and creative sushi alongside sticks from the grill. After all, were a sushi restaurant even for those who dont like fish. We are known for exceptional food, thoughtful Danish design, and a total commitment to developing talented people. Today, we are growing with restaurants in Copenhagen, Berlin, London, Oxford, Cambridge and soon to be opening a restaurant and bar in Glasgow!

What youll be doing at Sticks n Sushi Youll support in building and leading each shift with passion, with a dedication to ensuring quality and outstanding hospitality at every touchpoint. Youll be ready to energise the team, helping to create and host an experience so special that our guests truly leave the real world for a while. Youll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations-from decision-making and team development to maintaining high standards. Youll share responsibility for driving performance and supporting the General Manager in delivering on our P&L goals. Youll be the person the team turns to for motivation, clarity, and encouragement. Youll lead by example, with confidence and humility. You will be our ambassador of SticksnSushi.

What youll bring to us As a seasoned Assistant General Manager, youll have a track record of confidence and hospitality excellence under your belt in previous roles. Yet youve got the adaptability of water, able to stay calm, flexible and quickly respond to challenges and change. You will always keep our standards high and costs under control. Alongside this, you bring respect, trust and generosity to your team, hearing their ideas and coaching them in their work. Youll be the fiery spark that ignites the creativity of your team to make this new restaurant something special in its own right.
