Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Leading Developer / Contractor
Location: Herts
Salary: £40,(Apply online only) – £60,(Apply online only) + package (DOE)
Project: £100m+ New Build Residential Development
Start: Immediate / ASAP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a leading developer and main contractor delivering a prestigious £100m+ new build residential scheme in North West London.

Role Overview:
You’ll be working closely with a Senior QS and wider commercial team, assisting with the full range of pre- and post-contract duties. The role will provide excellent mentorship, clear progression routes, and the opportunity to take on increasing levels of responsibility as you develop.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with procurement, cost planning, and tendering activities
Managing subcontractor packages and valuations
Supporting monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasts
Contributing to project financial control through to final accounts
Liaising with site and project management teams to ensure commercial success

Requirements:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
2–6 year's experience with a main contractor or developer
Strong commercial awareness and good communication skills
