Job : Assistant Manager TS

Location : London Hybrid 3 days onsite


Overview:

We are seeking a high-performing Assistant Manager to join the Transaction Services team, supporting financial due diligence and deal advisory engagements. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong accounting background and experience in M&A or transaction-related work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Analyse financial statements, cash flows, working capital, and key business drivers
  • Identify key risks, opportunities, and deal considerations, presenting findings clearly to clients
  • Prepare high-quality due diligence reports, including detailed financial analysis and insights
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Assist in managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality output
  • Review work of junior team members and provide guidance and mentorship
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent
  • 3–6 years of experience in Transaction Services / Deals / Audit (with TS exposure preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and due diligence processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working on M&A transactions
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Exposure to data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx) is a plus
