Assistant Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Permanent position with a stable, growing regional contractor Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Overview Manage the commercial aspects of multiple groundworks and commercial build projects (£500k - £2.5M) Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts Procurement and negotiation of subcontract packages Management of subcontractor accounts, variations and payments Cost planning, forecasting and monthly reporting Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities Liaise with clients, consultants and supply chain partners Work closely with Site Managers and Directors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within a contractor environment Groundworks experience essential Experience working on projects between £500k - £2.5M advantageous Strong understanding of JCT contracts Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills Excellent communication and organisational ability Full UK driving licence Based within commuting distance of the Bristol area This role is open to established Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking to progress within a supportive and growing business.
