Assistant Quantity Surveyor

to join their commercial team, with a strong focus on estimating duties. The Role: This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in quantity surveying and estimating. The successful candidate will support both the commercial and pre-construction teams, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions Analysing drawings, specifications, and other documentation Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations Supporting the commercial team with cost planning and budget control Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts Maintaining accurate records of project costs and documentation Liaising with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders Requirements: Degree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong numerical and analytical skills Good understanding of construction processes and cost management Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role or within the construction industry Exposure to estimating software or cost planning tools What's on Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Structured training and career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to work on diverse and interesting projects If you are looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking company, we would love to hear from you.
