Our client is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is motivated, driven, and keen to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking commercial team. You will be working predominantly across live projects in the Essex region within the Industrial Sector, with occasional visits. This is a hybrid role. The Role

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a pivotal role on a £20m Industrial Scheme in Chelmsford , you will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of projects, helping to maximise profitability and ensure strong cost control.

Key responsibilities include: Assisting with procurement, including analysing and comparing subcontractor quotations Supporting contract administration duties Tracking and reporting project costs Preparing valuations, forecasts, and commercial reports Monitoring variations, changes, and commercial risks Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with day-to-day commercial management What's in it for you?

Basic Salary £35k-£45k (lump sum inc car allowance) + Package + Annual Bonus scheme (Typically 10%)
