Astute's Power Team is partnered with a global company, who specialise in the Energy from Waste (EfW)Power industry, to recruit an Assistant Shift Team Leader to join their new-build Energy from Waste Power Station in Fife, Scotland. The EfW power station processes 240,000 tonnes of waste per annum, exporting 21.5MW of electricity to the grid.

The vital Shift Team Leader role comes with a salary of £47,599 + £5,000 Shift Allowance + Bonus + Private Medical + Pension + Benefits.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Shift Team Leader you will be responsible for:

Assisting the Shift Team Leader in the safe & efficient operation of the plant, Carry out plant inspections, adjustments, readings and maintain all data accurately to ensure compliance with the environmental permit. Manage and monitor plant consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained and liaising with procurement to replenish supplies. Supervising contractors, reviewing RAMS and ensuring all work is carried out in line with company legislation and processes.
