We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to join our Swindon office. You will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service to our customers, the daily running of the site and ensuring a safe work environment for all who work on or visit site.You'll be responsible for:Builds a good working relationship with customer, consultants and supply chain and ensures there is good open dialogue throughout the project. Maintains quality control measures, this necessitates visual inspection of work and frequent tours of siteUnderstands the contract programme, updates and reports progress on a weekly basisProduces, monitors and manages short term programmes related to the main construction programmeSets targets in conjunction with the site manager to ensure that the contract programme is met or improved uponManages materials procurement in line with the project construction programme and procurement scheduleManages and coordinates subcontractors' attendance on site and ensures work is carried out in a timely mannerAssists with the implementation and maintenance of the quality test and inspection plansEnsures all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, project specifications, drawings and current regulations and standards and any non-conformances are dealt with promptly and effectivelyEnsures prospective subcontractors are fully aware of quality standardsExperience:ONC / HNC or trade background with recognised progression through to site managementDegree or MCIOB membership desiredDemonstratable commitment to continuing professional developmentSMSTS, First Aid and CSCS CardONC / HNC or trade background with recognised progression through to site managementDegree or MCIOB membership JBRP1_UKTJ
