Location: Manchester We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our fast-growing team delivering high-volume timber frame housing developments across Manchester. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone confident managing subcontractors and driving programmes to meet tight build schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Site Manager in delivering timber frame new build plots from superstructure through to handover
Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site
Monitor quality, health & safety, and programme targets
Conduct plot inspections and ensure high finish standards
Assist with NHBC inspections and client walk-rounds
Maintain site records and ensure compliance with company procedures
Requirements
Proven experience on timber frame residential developments
Strong knowledge of build sequencing and fast-track programmes
SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
