The Role As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Assist in the management of site operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones Maintain quality control procedures and carry out regular site inspections Support with site documentation, reporting, and record keeping Help resolve any on-site issues efficiently and professionally Ensure a clean, safe, and organised site environment Requirements Previous experience in a similar role within a main contractor environment Strong understanding of construction processes and site management principles Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work well within a team and under pressure Relevant qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or similar - desirable) Valid CSCS card SMSTS/SSSTS (or working towards) First Aid certification (preferred) What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on diverse and interesting projects Clear progression and career development opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment How to Apply If you are an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to progress your career with a reputable contractor, please apply with your CV today.
