Assistant Site Manager

More about your role Support the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations to deliver homes safely, on time and to agreed quality standards.
Ensure safe working practices are always followed and maintain compliance with all SHE procedures and regulations.
Oversee build activities across all stages, ensuring inspections are completed and plots are fully ready before presentation.
Deliver site inductions for contractors and visitors and help maintain a positive, disciplined site culture.
Liaise with the NHBC and other key stakeholders when required.
Deputise for the Site Manager in their absence.
Plan, programme and coordinate work packages to ensure deadlines are met.
Manage site logistics and minimise health, safety and environmental risks.
Support new homeowners by ensuring snagging items are resolved promptly and to a high standard.
More about you You bring a proactive, positive approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
You're confident working in a fast-paced construction environment and able to coordinate multiple activities effectively.
You communicate well with contractors, colleagues, stakeholders and customers, representing our People First approach at all times.
You are organised, reliable and able to plan work, solve problems and maintain strong site discipline.
You take pride in delivering high standards and supporting the smooth running of the site.
Essential criteria Full clean driving licence
SMSTS
First Aid certificate
Scaffold Inspection certificate Preferred criteria Good IT skills
Knowledge of NHBC standards and basic building control
Previous housebuilding experience
NVQ Level 6 in Site Management
