Associate Director, Growth & Structured Finance Join our Commercial Banking division as an Associate Director to originate, structure, and implement complex leveraged debt facilities for SME & mid‑corporate clients across the UK. You will play a key role on the transactional deal team, enhance our market presence, and drive business development within a high‑performing team. What you’ll be doing

Support directors in overseeing efficient client, credit, and diligence/legal processes for complex transactions. Assess, structure, and lead new business proposals for lower‑risk deals with support from directors. Prepare and analyse financial models to a high standard, ensuring numeric accuracy, stress‑tested assumptions, and identified risks. Collaborate closely with SME and mid‑corporate relationship teams to upskill and identify opportunities within the existing client base and external market. Grow market presence and relationships with debt advisors and the professional community to support origination activities.

What you’ll need

Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, including cash‑flow analysis and stress testing. Experience optimally operating within the SME and/or mid‑corporate segment. Excellent written communication skills for producing concise, accurate credit papers. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. A proactive mindset with a strong appetite to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
