We have an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse to join us as we recruit for the position of Associate Director of Nursing, Quality and Safety. The successful candidate will provide leadership in quality assurance, patient safety and continuous improvement across all services to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, compassionately, and with strong leadership. You’ll set standards and lead workstreams for patient safety, clinical governance, infection prevention & control (IPC), and Health & Safety (H&S), driving measurable improvements for patients, carers, and staff. What we’re looking for:
Experience at senior nurse level working within a healthcare environment and expert knowledge of relationship‑based leadership and strategic influencing skills Up‑to‑date understanding of end‑of‑life care and regulatory frameworks across the UK NMC Registered Nurse (Level 1) and relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) Proven track record in assurance, governance and patient safety (particularly the patient safety incident response framework (PSIRF) and using learning to drive continuous improvements) Experience of clinical governance at a senior level
