We’re shaping the future of the global financial system and enabling institutions and individuals to participate in the crypto economy safely and efficiently.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Liquidity Risk Manager to lead risk management initiatives across Coinbase’s Prime Brokerage platform. The ideal candidate will design and implement liquidity risk frameworks, monitor contingent liabilities, influence product design, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a dynamic digital asset environment.Key Responsibilities:Identify and manage liquidity risks related to trading, financing, custody, staking, and prime brokerage servicesDesign and enforce a comprehensive liquidity risk framework across multiple legal entitiesModel liquidity outflows based on historical behavior and stress scenariosMonitor liquidity metrics, outflows, and limit breaches; escalate as neededCollaborate with Product, Legal, Operations, and other departments to mitigate risk during new product developmentPrepare and present liquidity risk reports to senior managementDevelop and implement policies to address both existing and emerging liquidity risksSupport firm-wide liquidity stress testing and risk assessmentsQualifications:Required:7–10 years of experience in liquidity risk, collateral management, or rehypothecation at a global financial institutionDeep understanding of prime brokerage and derivatives liquidity riskFamiliarity with institutional clients such as hedge funds and asset managersStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsCommercial mindset with a focus on pragmatic, data-driven solutionsPreferred:Strong interest or background in crypto markets and blockchain trendsPerformance-based bonusEquity grantsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceRemote-first culture with flexible work optionsEqual Opportunity Employer:Coinbase is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
