This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a mixture of office and home working.Job PurposeWe have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated residential development agent to join our expanding Rapleys Living Team as an Associate Partner.The Rapleys Living team is focused on maximising the potential of new or existing sites for residential development. The multi-disciplinary teams work to add value through the development lifecycle. The primary activities are Agency disposals and acquisitions of residential opportunities as well as providing development consultancy and strategic advice to landowners, developers and companies.Key Responsibilities IncludeTo operate within private, affordable, BTR and care/retirement residential sectorsTo manage on behalf of the client the full land and acquisition process including marketing developer selection and legal completionProvide effective strategic development advice including advising on development options to optimise returnsAssist and advise clients through the added value process including planning promotion and applicationPerson specificationMRICS qualifiedDriven, self-motivated individual with at least 7 years direct experience in acquisition and disposal of residential development opportunitiesThe ability to bring an existing client base and an extensive contact listDetailed practical knowledge and experience of the sale and acquisition process including private treaty, promotion and option agreements and auctionsTo be flexible to deal with residential development opportunities throughout the UKA good working knowledge of the Argus Development Appraisal packageA full clean driving licenseEmployee BenefitsFlexible workingHybrid workingHoliday entitlement – 33 days per annum (excl. bank holidays) which includes a wellbeing day and your birthdayPrivate healthcareMedicash cashback scheme50% gym membership contributionCycle to work schemeLife assuranceEnhanced maternity leaveEnhanced paternity leaveWe are firm believers that a diverse team enhances and drives its success.
