Associate Planner - Planning Consultancy\n\nA leading urban planning consultancy is seeking a dedicated Associate Planner to join its dynamic team. The team is made up of planners, urban designers, and architects. They've built a strong reputation for blending planning, policy, and design to create people-friendly places.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborating with senior planners to develop and implement planning strategies.\n\nConducting research and analysis to inform planning decisions.\n\nPreparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.\n\nEngaging with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and the public.\n\nAssisting in the preparation of planning reports and presentations.\n\nEssential Skills and Experience:\n\nDegree in Town Planning or a related field.\n\nMembership, or eligibility for membership, with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).\n\nProven experience in a planning role, ideally within a consultancy environment.\n\nStrong analytical and research skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\n\nProficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nThe consultancy values and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
